Lussier Hotsprings

On Jan. 5, about 3 hours north of the Montana/Canada boarder we drove down the scariest road we have ever been on, single lane dirt road with no guard rails and lots of logging trucks...  oh but it was worth it.

A steep snowy trail led us down to the bank of the river where the hot water flowed out of the rocks into two pools.  There was a slimy white algea that clung to the rocks near the outflow, but other then that the water was crystal clear.

There were quite a few people there for our pre dinner soak.  However, postdinner, in the moon and candle light we had the riverside to ourselves and it was beautiful.  We even woke early and watched the sunrise from the pools.
