Route 395

We spent 2 days touring and 5 days in the hotsprings in the eastern Sierra Nevada mountains. This area was crazy beautiful with rocky jagged peaks, meeting plains of gold.
Unfortunately, both days that we spent touring were hard and unsatisfying.  Hiking up was long, steep, and the sugar like snow would fall away leaving us on sage brush and rocks. The ride down was full of more rocks and shrapnel (the little trees that whip out at you from everywhere).
I've been trying to figure out different ways to explain this experience but this is what it comes down to, it was painfully hard, but so beautiful, we did get some turns that were totally worth it, as you will see in the pictures.
